World Environment Day was observed on 5th June 2014 at Pelling Senior Secondary School, West Sikkim. The program was organized by West District Forest Department. Shri L.P. Kafley (Zilla Upadkshaya) was the Hon’ble Chief Guest for the program. M/S Shiga Energy Pvt. Ltd. also actively participated in the program along with the students and District Administration.

“Green Run” Event was organized during the event which included M/s. Shiga Energy Private Ltd. felicitating 150 students of Pelling Senior Secondary School with token prizes. The event came to an end with cleanness drive at the heritage site of “RABDENTSEE RUINS”.
